“Real nippy and any staff member can use it without an issue. It’s great to have the tray at the back to put farm gear on or animal feed in. A great size, very easy to manoeuvre around and excellent for all jobs related to the dairy farm. Towing heavy trailers with animal feed, calf trailers getting cows and the like is not a problem. It is great not to have to pay for petrol to keep it going”

“The Pickman is a very useful vehicle for a range of workplaces, in our case, Horticulture, It effortlessly towed a thousand kilograms over wet terrain, and carried several hundred kilograms of tools and equipment in the tray. Easy to use, slow speed, powerful, reliable and extremely economical. Ideally suited to areas a full size vehicle cannot go”

“First impressions, it was easy to drive, especially for a person without much driving experience. And whilst being a Mini-Truck, it is roomy, even for taller people, quiet and comfortable in the cab, especially with its heater and aircon.”

“So excited to have a Pickman Pic-Up on our campground. It has been amazing, we use it everyday. We get lots of work done much faster and it’s fun too. All weatherproof, 100% electric and innovative. How can you not fall in love with a Pickman!”

“We have been using our Pickman for 6 months here at Driftaway. It is now part of our daily conversations as to how we ever went without one!
We were lucky enough to demo the Pickman prior to purchasing. Prior to trialling, I knew the Pickman would be useful to us, however I did not expect it to have such a positive impact on our business.
The biggest impact we have seen is on transporting rubbish, linen bags and also tools for grounds maintenance. Our team is happier because they have less trips to the recycling/rubbish station a day and they also don’t have to make as many heavy trips with full linen bags. In wet/windy conditions, the closed cab is also a huge positive.
Our property has multiple terraces and now having the ability to load the push mower, leaf blower and hedge trimmer all into the back and zip around the property saves a lot of time for our team. All green waste can easily be loaded up on the back and easily disposed of.
Overall we save a lot of time, money and our day to day operations are easier.
We have a huge focus on sustainability here at Driftaway. We love that our Pickman is electric and that the battery lasts a long time. We can plug our vehicle in and charge with our solar generated electricity and know that we are not hurting the environment around us.
As if all the benefits aren’t enough already, the Pickman is just a lot of fun to have around. Our team is always grinning from ear to ear riding around in it and that’s something we love to see!
We’ve greatly enjoyed working with Barry and Pickman and can see the passion for this business and the brand. We can’t wait to see more Pickmans at businesses around New Zealand soon.”

“We use our fabulous little remote controlled PICCA for picking, pruning and general orchard maintenance at FLO. It’s robust and lifts, loads and tows. We now benefit from significant labour saving, way less staff fatigue and is much safer than working with ladders.
Way less chance of making mistakes, slipping and falls. We enjoy much higher staff morale and a better quality of work. Our PICCA is an absolute winner!.
